Director of Instruction
Tyler serves as the Director of Instruction at LGA and the Director of the LABsters Junior program. Coaching has always been a passion for Tyler. Having played at a collegiate and national level as an amateur, he made the easy choice of turning professional and teaching the game he loves. Tyler started his coaching career at GolfTec and was then handed the keys to LGA in September of 2020.
About Tyler
Tyler Roope has quickly established himself as one of the top young coaches in the Fraser Valley. After studying Sport Sciences at Douglas College, Tyler found his first coaching opportunity at GolfTEC Vancouver. It was there that Tyler found his passion; junior golf and competitive golfers. With the help of mentors before him, Tyler has created a movement/environment/game based philosophy with juniors that has proved most successful within his LABsters program. Tylers passion and enthusiasm when coaching is contagious, especially when teaching our young juniors.
